game crash after the canyon level

when i pass the canyon level(fisrt level of the 7th chapter), it loads normally , introduces me to the new level and when i click on start it crash and close it abruptly. any suggestion?
i've installed phys x and phys x legacy driver, i'm playing on windows 7 on an Nvidia GPU

Have you tried to verify the game files? You can do this by right-clicking on Shadowgrounds: Survivor in your Steam Library, then click on properties and choose the local files tab and the button to verify integrity of game cache should be there. Also reinstalling the game might be worth trying.

You could also try to reinstall or update your PhysX[www.nvidia.com] and PhysX Legacy[www.nvidia.com] installations.

The problem also sounds familiar to the issue listed in our FAQ[frozenbyte.com] in the Troubleshooting section and under the title
”The game crashes when loading a mission”, so you could try the workarounds mentioned there.

My game crashed once just before Inferno, after i pressed start button.
So i opened installation directory and set both Launcher.exe and survivor.exe to run as Administrator. It worked for me.
It basically works on alot games that crash. Try to run exe files as administrator and if dosnt work then maybe also in compatible mode.

reinstall and verify games files doesn't resolve the problem but setting launcher.exe and survivor.exe to execute as administrator did the trick.
