From my personal experience, I have yet to be in a single game with Russians in this and I've been playing daily since launch.

Although that's not saying much since the player base is so small it takes a miracle to find anyone to play against.

The reason that there is large amount of bad Russian players. That's not the biggest complain (tbh there are also great Russian players) but the major complain is the fact that most of them don't speak english, yet they tick the ''English'' option and play on EU servers while speaking and writing Russia, even though they have their own server where they are allowed to say ''Cyka cyka'' as many times as they wish.

Is there no league table type of thing to stream & match players by experience?
provokingastorm 2013년 10월 22일 오후 12시 17분
I have played against players from other European regions. I've had nothing but positive experiences, not sure about Russians. Most will try to communicate in English, even though it's not their first language. There's no dedicated servers, so there is nothing stopping you from getting matched against players in other countries.

I've been playing a lot of DOTA 2 lately. The GoME community is much more friendly. Unfortunately, there aren't many people playing GoME PC right now.

There's only matchmaking which usually puts you into the same skillcategory, but I assume they put you in it with people who roughly same W/L ratio and same play time. That is only my assumption and I don't believe that's the real way they do it.
I found some link about the matchmaking if you want to look more into it: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=70618
There are also other discussions about the matchmaking topic so I would advice making a few Google search and you should find some hints on how the matchmaking rating works.

That's actually verbal harassment and translates literally as spamming "♥♥♥♥♥" in chat. You can get someone banned for that.

Part of why Russians often don't play on Russian servers is because the level of toxicity and verbal harassment is completely off the charts there. A lot of people leave Russian severs because they can't handle the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, while others play on English servers because they're banned for verbal abuse on Russian ones. Then there's bad players who, because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Russian nationalism, believe non-Russian players are automatically worse than them and come to English servers in hopes of finally winning a match.

tl;dr Russian gaming community is notoriously toxic and a lot of Russian players who know English won't even admit they're part of it because they're ashamed of it.

I dont play online; but I have read the same about toxic player populations on many other games - and not just cussing Ruskies - all kinds of nationalities.

It's just moba comunities, they have the worst acting player bases of all games. Russians don't play on russian servers because from what I hear, they are in a bad place and most russians live closer to EU ones. That and the russian ones are kinda crappy and drop frequently. Honestly, I see Americans act just as bad if not worse. It's not the nationality, just the playerbase.

This game is not f2p, so I guess the amount of Russians is drastically lower as for example Dota2. F2P or hacked crap, thats Russia. Oh yeh, and ofc acting like the drunk ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they are.

And Americans rage like teenage girls, aren't sweeping generalizations fun.
