How drunk were the devs when they ported this?
But no, seriously, how drunk were they? Compared to the console version, this is a damn joke.

The netcode is still a bit shakey, better than I remember from console at least, but the interface, hahahahahahaha. You can't even look at your stats in game. You basically never know how powerful you are at any point, even before the match cause you can't even look at the characters stats before the match either. The game doesn't tell you what buffs do, you just get special rings that you hope help your characters, and it doesn't show stacks on relics. Mix that in with all the weird♥♥♥♥♥bugs that show up, and you just have a mess worse than a toddler could make.

I am seriously upset about this. I loved this game on console. Besides the connection being crap, this game was one of my favorite mobas. Here it is on PC, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port not even worth having to disgrace the already tarnished LOTR name in video games. Whats worse is that the devs wont even listen to us.

I've been in contact with the community manager for over a month now, trying to feed her bug info and whatnot on whats going on. Almost nothing that I or anyone else has said is getting looked at. Even she seems frustrated about it. What kind of crappy support is this? This honestly makes me worry that Shadows of Mordor is going ot be a horrendous game just because of the lack of support for this game, and the lack of effort.

They were honestly better off just porting the original console version over here instead of trying to make it look different for PC, cause they did absolutely nothing to make it special for PC. The UI is worse, and there are too many things missing that are essential in a moba, nonetheless a PC game. If this ever gets fixed, I'll be amazing, but honestly, it will be too late, so it doesn't matter. There is basically no communityhere anymore, and this game is getting no attention. They had a chance when it was put in humble bundle, but clearly, they don't care.

Sad day for LOTR fans and those who played the console version.

I feel the -exact- same way on every point you made. This crap is awful. I somewhat enjoyed it on my PS3 when I played the trial via PS+ and I was a little excited to get to try it on PC where MOBAs are meant to be played. I install it today and I was totally mind♥♥♥♥ed by the concept of a MOBA degrading in respnsiveness when moved from consoles to PC. I've already uninstalled it after playing half of a round (only played half because it forced me into a round with bots since there is literally nobody playing this turd.)

It should have stayed on consoles if they weren't willing to do it justice on PC. On PC you have to compete with League of Legends and Dota2. If you aren't going to do it right, I question why you bothered at all. Who the hell is going to pay for this and actually want to play it over those? Maybe on consoles you have a market for MOBAs because your crap will have no competition, but on PCs, there are much better FREE games people could be on. This is so bad it almost comes off as a mod of a game, rather than a game itself. It really reminds me of custom game mods you'd see from Warcraft 3, like the original Dota, or SC2 custom games. The difference is that those don't cost 20$, or anything, really. If you own SC2, you can play any mod in it for free. You can play Dota2 for free. You likely won't, but at the very least, you can try it. I think this has a box cost just because they know no one would hang around after trying it for a day or two. And that is the difference. Those games are free, but good, so you want to hang around and put money into the machine. This one is really bad, so you've no incentive to keep the game installed past the first day. If it didn't have an entry cost, everyone would come and go without putting any money into it.

Yep, I agree with all of you. Honestly, I was hoping that the PC port would be an improvement over the console version. It's quicker to iterate on PC. It's quick and painless to patch your game through Steam, and costs no money to the developer. My hope was that they would just fix all of the net code issues.

I understand why they changed the UI. The UI for the consoles was optimized for only one aspect ratio. On the PC, there are many different screen resolutions. But leaving important features out of the UI that were in the console version is unacceptable. To echo Drain, unless they fix the net code, this game should have stayed on the consoles.

Been playing it today, it is a good game, if it wasnt so awful or buggy.

When dead, you cant press esc or anything it just freezes. I dont understand how to see any buffs and sometimes the abilities refuse to work (gandalfs might (e) just didnt attack???)

The map movement is so so so SO slow

i dont understand the buying of guardians or anything

I enjoying it, but it is VERY VERY buggy. the graphics yeah fine its just the actual gameplay for me screwing up.
