Of course there are no players. This is a pay to play MOBA on PC. That is an insta-suicide formula for a game. The dev's couldn't sell the game, so they didn't get funding to keep it alive. The game has struggled to make even the most basic fundamental improvements let alone release new and interesting content that would make the game worth playing. They should fire the person who designed the marketing for this. The only reasons to play this are as follows: You like Tolkien's LotR-related lore, or you are a game developer and you want a lesson in why not to get in bed with big publishers. It is really sad how good this game could have been if they had followed the free-to-play MOBA marketing format relying on microtransaction and merchandise to fund the game development. Also, they needed to release a new hero at least once a month to keep people coming back. They simply released this in the wake of the Hobbit fanfare and then let it rot and fester. It would appear that they have totally given up now. There hasn't been a patch in over a month.

Also, you should take it as an ominous sign that neither community moderator has been online recently... Kyle hasn't been online for a month, and Melanee for two weeks. The game is dead, unfortunately.

The game is sadly attrocious and lacks many key features and designs that other, more widely played MOBA games utilize. I'd love to play it, but being a drabbed boring and clunky game isn't worth my time.
