[HELP] Attack Range Boundary not togglable
Hello everyone,

I know this forum is not popular, however I hope there are still people that can help me solving my issues.

I played GoME on PS3 for dozens of hours, and I felt disappointed when servers went down, not because they went down, but because I could not play at all, as the game on PS3 does not allow us to create private sessions. Only remaining mode was the training with Gandalf. Before, even when there were no players, at least I could play with bots. But as I said, it was shut down, which is a pity, as a simple patch to create private sessions would not have been something difficult to implement... All the assets are already in the game, even the AI.

Now that I can finally play this game on PC, I can enjoy a game that runs way better than on PS3, way smoother. The 360 gamepad is better also. I can create private games where I don't have to wait for players, players that will never come.

Everything was fine, until I find that I cannot play with Legolas, my favorite character in this game. The Attack Range Boundary in settings, no matter if it is toggled or not, does not work, as no range boundary is shown on the screen. If my character is a hand-to-hand melee character, I won't mind, but as Legolas deals with ranged attacks, if I cannot see his attack range, I just cannot play well at all, because I don't know the distance needed to shoot ennemies.

I saw Youtube videos and I know this feature is in the Steam version (because the UI is different from that of the console versions). My point is :

- is it a bug known by other persons that played the game?

- is it due to some conflicts with other settings that I made in the game settings?

- is it due to some conflicts with settings of the Nvidia Control Panel?

If it happens that you can run the game with the Attack Range Boundary shown on the screen, please, can you tell me your game settings (what you toggled and what you did not toggle) and Nvidia Control Panel settings? If you think it is too much, you can as well take screenshots.

Another question: is it normal that the achievements are locked although I fulfilled their goals?

Thank you very much!

About the achievements issue, it was simple : to get the challenges to be saved as well with the achievements, you need to open a 5 vs 5 battle, and click on Search, not Private. Wait 5 minutes, and go to battle.

I still did not resolve the Attack Range Boundary issue.

I resolved my issue by messing with the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel.

The game does not have any native antialiasing, so I wanted to add MSAA + SS (and graphically the result was stunning), but lately, I installed a new version of Nvidia drivers and I needed to set settings again. But MSAA + SS did not work this time (the aliasing was still present ingame), so I decided to turn them off.

And now, the Attack Range Boundary is showing!

I don't understand why, because the first time I played the game, I did not use the Nvidia Control Panel, so I did not turn the AA on. Maybe I needed to turn it manually off, or maybe it is just a bug, I don't know... The important thing is that now it works. I hope it will stay like this.
