L.A Noire is a game about Detective Cole Phelps. It's a game based around solving crimes and arresting (or in most cases, murdering in cold blood) suspects. The game is supposed to be like a real old movie, and it has the framerate to match. Seriously, this game is one of the worst ports I've ever seen. At least Max Payne and GTA 4 worked and kept above half a frame. I've spent more time trying to fix the bloody FPS then actually playing the thing. I really, REALLY want to recommend this game, but I just can't. Rockstar just doesn't care about PC users. They just care about maximizing profits by giving us the scraps. Games like GTA 4 or L.A Noire are shadows of their console versions. We can't keep letting Rockstar push us around like this. They throw us a bugged, poorly optimized game and then never fix it, despite having all the time in the world to. How come companies like Valve and *shudders* EA can make good PC ports, but Rockstar can't? Because Rockstar is lazy. They're lazy, and they don't care about PC gamers. They make us wait months, sometimes a year or more, for a fantastic game, and they make it unplayable. Rockstar can't keep getting away with this, they just can't. When i was a console gamer, I thought that Rockstar was the best company ever, and that they actually cared about their gamers, but after playing their games on PC, i know that i was mistaken. All in all, L.A Noire would be good, if Rockstar cared enough to put any effort into optimizing it for PC.
