To add on what monsafi said, yes you get not just a music video from Poets of the Fall that is Alan Wake themed and the official OST, you also get an in-game developer commentary, and you also get a PDF file book that also adds more to the lore and explains some of the backstory in the game. Oh and you also get both DLC episodes (episodes 7 and 8) as well, so if that doesn't sell it to you, then just get the regular edition. Trust me I bought the Collecter's Edition myself =)

Its a seprate folder called "Alan Wake Files" in the same directory that has your bonus folder and soundtrack folder.

I could be wrong, I think the DLC comes free with every edition of the PC version of Alan Wake. I have them and I'm pretty sure I got the standard edition on sale.

Nope, it is a separate DLC.

Except that doesn't say it includes any DLC, just the extra stuff. I agree with Dreakon, from what I can see ALL PC copies come with the DLC which was seperate on Xbox. CE just gives you the fluff.

I'm fearily certain that the "War" musikvideo and the soundtrack are a "hidden" extra on all pc versions, but do to owning the DLC linked above I can no longer check.

I'm dead certain that the DLC has the comentery and Alan Wake Files though and I at least had to buy them separatly.

If you got them "free", then good for you though.

DLC I was referring to are The Signal and The Writer. The additional game content. I wasn't talking about the soundtrack and stuff.

Oh. Yeah, didn't think about those.

The DLC I linked is the only paid DLC for the PC version though, so I guess we where both right, just arguing at cross purpose.

For the record though, there is also a free language pack DLC as well. Spanish, I believe.
