Gameplay differences between M/KB and Controller
Hello there, my dear Alan Wake players.
I just bought this game, being 75% of (YES! xD) and I have an issue with the gameplay. I am using M/KB and somehow, everything is really strange. It doesn't seem natural (to me, at least). I had to lower my Mous' sensitivity because everything was too fast.
Is it just me, or have you experienced similiar things? And is it better to use a Controller?
Sorry for every mistake, not an native speaker :3

Yeah, KB/M was ultra-fast for me, I had to turn down the sensitivity a few notches to make it playable. I used a 360 controller for most of it though and it felt much more natural.

It is fine with mouse/keyboard. As with most games, you have to adjust the sensitivity to minimum. I play with 1 notch above the minimum setting and 1200 dpi mouse sens. Also try setting Direct Input Enabled from the game, default setting doesn't work with the mouse very well.

I bought a 360 controller for windows specifically for this game and it's damn near perfect controls. Never really touched the M/KB but personally it's just worth picking up a wired 360 controller for cheap just for the odd games that sometimes are better with it.

The game was made as a 360 game (even though it does originally have pc origins that game was actually scratched.) I use my wireless 360 controller with a wireless adapter I got off ebay for $13 work amazing for pretty much every game with controller options.
