Low FPS problem
Not really sure what's going on. I get into the game just fine, wander around, look around, everything's beautiful. Get to the first combat scene where you're learning how to dodge, and abruptly my FPS drops into the 1-5 range. No real reason that I can see, to be honest.

Intel quad core i7 2.93ghz
8gb ram
1gb AMD Radeon HD 6800

Any ideas?

I can hit escape when it starts to slog, and it'll go back to normal. Slogging will be back within a couple of minutes. Sort of obnoxious.

Almost same problem here, constant framerate issues even on the lowest settings.
AMD FX-4170
Zambezi 32nm Technology
16.0GB RAM
1GB AMD Radeon HD 6670
4.2 ghz

Apparently if you run your game on low res then try again to run on high it sometimes fixes thie issue

Try reducing texture resolution and see if that helps, I have a feeling it has to do with graphics stuff not being able to fit into video ram.

I turned it all the way down, still having trouble. I dunno. I quit trying to play because it had gotten so obnoxious.
