Anyone know any games similar to this?
I really enjoyed it. The story was good, shooting was interesting (sure there wasn't much varitey but it was good anyway) and the atmosphere ROCKED, espically the DLC (with the words everywhere.)

The only game i can personally think of is Resident Evil, but it seems the newer ones, besides revelations which i also loved, are more actiony.

Watch some trailers of Deadly Premonition, it has some similarities. Keep in mind that this is not a big budget title which can be seen in the graphics and controls. The story, characters and atmosphere however are top notch and really interesting. If you know and like Twin Peaks, I'm sure you'll like this too.

EDIT: If you are indeed interested in Deadly Premonition DON'T read the comments or go looking for the original soundtrack because those will contain spoilers. The story of the game is too good to be spoiled!

If you want to find another scary game try Cryostasis or maybe Doom 3. There is the follow up to Alan Wake also called American Nightmare which I've not played yet as far too many games, but I will.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a pretty good spin-off. There are some things they changed about it that toned the creepiness (and certainly the challenge) down a bit, at least in my opinion. But it's still worth a playthrough. Plus, the 'Fight Til Dawn' arcade mode is quite challenging indeed! It's not multiplayer, unfortunately, but it could still be fun to play "with" a friend, by taking turns and trying to top each other's score, etc.

The first 2 Max Payne games were written by the guy (Sam Lake) who wrote Alan Wake. So if you liked the story you should like those as well.

Defffffinitely. Max Payne was the only reason I checked out Alan Wake. No regrets there. Remedy has amazing titles.
