Strange bugs in the game please help! :(

Recently i wanted to play Alan Wake for the 1st time but at episode 3 when you have to escape the cops, when reaching a Safe Haven it won't save, restarting to the last checkpoint (running from the police again) the ground would simply vanish, and i can see through it and again no checkpoint will save...i have reinstalled the game and it worked but, now it happens again in episode 4 on the andersons farm where the ground vanishes, checkpoints won't save and also no taken will spawn, please help i don't know what to do :(

Dude, did you fix it? I'm having this vanish ground bug on the Andersons farm as well!
