Lost save file!

Hi! I formated the C partition of my disk, while Steam is installed on D, but nevertheless I seem to have lost my save files! I beaten the game! Does anyone now where the save file could have gone, or know where I can download a save file or something?

I checked on Steam\SteamApps\common\vessel\Data\Save Games but there is no file there, and I saw other posts talking about some folder called appdata, but I don't have such folder inside the steam folder

Save files are usually on my documents, if you formatted there is nothing to do..
