What is in today's patch

There was a patch for TTR today but no corresponing news item.

Whatever it was, the game now freezes on start up and I can't play it. (on Mac) I verify game files and it says 2 files failed and that it will redownload them. It does, after which it passes the verify. But the game still freezes. I've deleted and reinstalled the game, but it still freezes. I've sent the error to the developers. Hopefully they fix it soon.

UPDATE: Turns out the latest patch had a problem with monitors with a resolution of 2560X1440. The issue has been fixed. Game is working great now.

I've just bought the game with all DLC and the game doesn't start. It freeze 2 seconds after start and stay in a black screen.

Just booted it up and looked around; i don't see anything new about it. No additional DLC slots to download or game options. Maybe an AI update? Who knows.

Same here. The game immediately crashes to desktop when I try to launch it! (just bought the DLC, which updated the game.) I'm on Windows 7.

Well, looks like im in the same boat now, I hope there is a fix released soon. I checked out the daysofwonder.com site and fallowed the little troubleshoot there but it didn't help.

I fixed it!! (thanks to Days of Wonders' quick reply!)

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game is not enough -- we also need to delete the remaining folder where the game is installed (old files left over after the update are what's apparently causing the problem):

- In Steam, go to your Library
- Right-click on Ticket to Ride
- Choose Delete Local Content...
- Confirm
- In Windows' Explorer, remove the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ticket to ride
- And then, back in Steam, click Play Game on Ticket to Ride, which will redownload it.

Worked for me! :) Hope it works for you guys too.
