Problems playing with friends

Hi! Im new here, and got steam just to play ticket to ride. I bought it also to my littlesister sp that we cna play together, but i just cant add her to my game. Can anyone help me? When i try to add a own unpublic game, i just get the message that i cant do it because i havent purcased it?

1) I had similar problems with some of the DLC games. I actually had to go in and authenticate them by re-downloading them.
2) I also found that a lot of my game play through Steam worked better after I attached everything to my Days of Wonder account, since that's where I originally purchased the game.

Yes, have had friends with this problem.
Attach your steam account to your days of wonder account through settings, then try to play it. it should work then.

When you first start the game go to More > Online Games. From there you should be able to logon via several options: Days of Wonder, Facebook, and Steam. Choose to logon through your Steam account. I had a similar issue trying to play with a friend of mine.

Once you're in the lobby your can Join games, or Create them.

If you continue to get the error, logout of the game and restart it. Then logout of the Days of Wonder website, and logon again as well. Those two things resolved my conflict.
