Is this game anything like Starfleet Command?

Oh good, the Developer. I also read on the Steam Forums about the DLC causing a game crashing bug for the base games early missions. Has that been resolved?

ya, thats exactly what I thought when i first started playing. I wouldnt call it an SFC ripoff... just the point of view and style are similar and probably INSPIRED by SFC, but certainly not to the point that it seems stolen. If you like SFC tho I'd definitely say that this should be alot of fun for you as well, unless you never thought "hmm wish i could take this dreadnaught mining" or "hmm wish i could just freeroam and shoot whoever i feel like shooting..." in SFC.
