Whether it is or not you can currently pay < $1.00 to find out; it is bundled with five other games right now for only one U.S. dollar. You have four days 10 hours to take advantage of this deal:

You can also try the demo:

If you're going to bother answering you might as well offer your own opinion of the game. Not everyone lives on the forum and/or has the willingness to play cheap games and waste their time and energy when a handful of reviews can help them yay or nay and not waste their time and their money.

It really ♥♥♥♥es me off when people write 'it's only a dollar' or 'its only 50p!'

The person is asking for an opinion so they can decided whether to invest their time, not being a shrew.

Hey Norwegianjesus, the guy asked his question in a forum filled with anwers to his question. So he is lame to start. That said. Pong is worth a buck. And that is the first and lamest game out there. So yes this game is easily worth $1.39.

I'd get SPG2 since it comes with a free copy of 1, at least it did for me.

So instead you derail a thread by ♥♥♥♥♥ing about a guy who posts thread links that give information that answers the op. Nice.

OT its ok. Some trans probs.

I find it interesting when people feel the need to waste space in a forum ragging on someone for giving an answer that is directing OP to find answers to their question just because it isn't what they would like as an answer even though that is completely irrelevant and provide no useful response to the question themselves. I'm sure that isn't what Jesus would do...lol, anyways, Is it worth 1.39? sure, will I keep playing much, maybe not, but that is just me and you maybe different having different tastes in games. Is it well made? not really, transparent textures that shouldn't be little bit rough english voice acting, game play might be fun for some though, I haven't gone too far yet, not sure I will, but considering the cheap price I'm not going to complain about it.

Does not come free anymore.
My opinion is that there are many better games out there and should probably stick with one of them. Problems with the user interface make this game almost unplayable on newer OSs. I got this game as a gift and have tried it and will try to play it to pick up on the story for the sequel; which I'd totally reccomend to anyone. Even in the early release state, Starpoint Gemini 2 eclipses most other space games I have played. Without a story!

Don't bother. Got it with "SPG2"...spend your money on that for an updated and visually spectacular game (visuals are important in space-based simulation/action games, for me anyhow). Just over a buck yes, but that's just over a buck to put to something you'll actually play more of.
