Linux version not downloading

When I hit the install button, it asks me if I want to install the game, as usual. But it doesn't show the total size of space disk required, nor the total space in my disk. Even if you accept it, the game got stuck and doesn't download.

Same problem. When I launch steam from a terminal and try to install Rochard I see the following output in the terminal window:

SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 20 (X_GetProperty)
Resource id in failed request: 0x22000a3
Serial number of failed request: 24912

I encounter the exact same issue.
I've got the game from one of the Humble Bundles.

- Dustforce
- VVVVVV

Rochard and the other games that you mentioned are likely in beta at the moment. That's why they're on your list. If you had the password, you could likely download the beta version.

I had the same. I've just copied the files to steam folder and now the game is running well but steam shows no achievements, only time I played.

Beta versions are password protected. If you go to the game's properties, there is a "Betas" tab. If you were privy to the password (i.e. the developers gave it to you), then you could install the beta version, presumably.

Awesome, this is one of my favorite indie games. I was fortunate enough to get a copy in the HIB and am looking forward to having it in steam. Great game, and thanks for the linux version developers!
