My game is changing
I've been playing Waves for over a year and quit for quite a long while after getting the max score. These days I tend to play for the thrill of dodging around, getting really close and slipping away. If there is a boring aspect of waves it is that it rewards players who stick to the edges circling endlessly while getting that combo up. But the game is nutzer if you get the screen full of hostiles and then try to cross the screen again and again taking outrageous risks.

Today I was surrounded by those proton balls closing in and I actually had the presence of mind to slow down time for the purpose of finding a tiny slot to squeeze through. And it was a beautiful thing to make it through by a hair when all looked lost and then seconds later come back with a bomb to blow up all eighty protons from the outside of the circle. Similar moments can be had by attacking the cube when thing are hectic. I've blown so many games trying this but its so satisfying when that cube goes kablooey just before it was going to run you over.

I just reached max score in Survival mode.

Although the survival is always the same, each day you come back to play you learn something new. Each day you become a little better and you score goes a little up. Some other game modes are specially good to learn how to move and how to fire.

This is the beauty of Waves: you learn to stay calm even when surounded by proton balls, you learn to keep the attention even when the screen is covered with sparks, you learn to overcome danger to get the 1x pads.

When you play Waves, there is only Waves, and nothing more.

Even I reached max score, I feel like still learning.

Thx @Unkind, I'll check it out.

If you really want the game to become more fun, play survival without using any bombs. Dodging through the middle just for laughs? Try it when your life depends on it, because the virus growth on the outside forces you into the middle.

Try and beat my score ... 55 million ... but the real challenge is not score but how long you can survive. My best is 12:17. Videos on my twich channel:

LOL gold, thanks for sharing sugarysnax! I also like to play this way! There is a thrill of a game in here, but it doesn't force you to take the thril, you kind of have to go for it yourself. I would highly recommend this kind of playing to others :) One of the cool things about this game is you can really play with the style of how you like to survive!
