Any chance of a GNU/Linux port?

I love Waves, but as daily GNU/Linux user I'd love to be able to play Waves without booting to Windows on my other hard drive. Are there any plans to port this to expand the player base?

Probably not, as the game didn't exactly break the sales records. And it's a shame considering that it doesn't work with Wine (at least when I tried).

Anyway, you might want to ask ask the developer directly via Twitter or e-mail, I don't think he reads these discussions very often.

Can UDK games be ported to Linux? I know that Unreal Engine 3 can, but I don't know if it's possible for the free version.

afaik the Unreal Engine (and thus UDK) runs just fine in Linux-powered systems.

The problem is that UDK has a auto-packaging program that doesn't seem to have a Linux option, and people aren't allowed to change UDK's code. Maybe there's a way that I don't know about, though.

I was just thinking the same, OP. No way in hell I'll spend $10 on this game..but if it had linux support...that would make it an easier decision.

A Linux version isn't an option under the UDK license. To compile a Linux compatible version would require a full Unreal 3 engine license.
