is this game worth its multiplayer?

i have 12 hours playtime so far and 11,5 hours of it i got error codes.


Singleplayer is working fine.

I use the editor mostly, too many problems with multiplayer. Much to explore in the editor. But, if you can get multiplayer working the way you want it too, ive heard amazing things about it

i get 100% errors when i search a server ingame.

With the A3Launcher i get about 90% error codes or at least i joined one server succesfully so far

Yeah I've given up on multiplayer. Also when it does work, the visuals aren't as good as single player, and FPS becomes sort of a problem for me.

Dani: use A3launcher! It downloads and installs mods automatically upon joining a server. It should work all the time.
Don't use the ingame server browser or the game's official luncher until you are clear with the mods.

What error code? Each code has a meaning to an issue.

Well A3launcher dont work for me. All servers i tried out (altis life, Exile, battleroyale) didnt work for me except one single exile server.
(Yes the A3 launcher downloaded all mods that are needed but it dont work at all)

Try nonmodded servers, like KOTH servers or Invade and Annex- Altis Life doesn't normally require mods either.

No because you need every freaking DLC in order to even join a host. Spent over 30min looking for a decent server and keep getting rejected due to DLC compatibility.

This games DLC model is worse than PAYDAY2 and that says A LOT.

Stick with SP and download custom missions from the community.

Nope. You can join without DLC-s, but u cant use the DLC content in game (dlc choppers, weapons). The only exception is apex.

You can stick with singleplayer, but ur just missing most of the fun, what this game could offer. Simply because you(not exactly you, anyone) are unable to use a 3click launcher, or google if you have an error code.

@OP: Yes,it is worth it and even if it is a hassle ONCE to get everything working,the MP landscape on ArmA offers many possibilites to have fun.
