Fatigue Motion Blur is Way Too Much!!!
The new Beta is awesome in a lot of ways but the new bluring system with a ten foot jog I feel is way over the top and it lasts too long after you stop. I dont know about you guys but I dont even feel like the game is playable anymore. All of my postprocesses are off but you cant disable the fatigue blur! I can't see straight after 10 min of playing. I'm really bummed out about this issue I was really enjoing the game before. What do you guys have to say about this probelm?

Agreed.

I never really saw it as a problem.
Just something else to watch out for other then the enemy.

If you cant see straight after 10 mins of playing your not stopping and allowing your character to rest.

It's not that bad is it? Maybe turn down the actual blur video setting if this is bothering you too much, it's off here and I gotta say I don't really notice a real disadvantage....

I mean, it's really a whole lot more then a 10 foot jog untill the screen starts going really foggy, and if you were to drop down and try shooting you'd miss everything anyway, right?

I've always seen it as part of arma to, once in a while, regroup, catch your breath and scan the area. Do this once every 200 metres or so and you should be fine.

A tip might be to lower your gun when running, this really helps stamina alot. Normally you will always hold the gun in a combat-ready position, which is alot more tireing.
To do this, double tap your left ctrl button (by default, as far as I can remember anyway).

Just on a sidenote; the blur settings in the options doesn't affect the fatique-blur.

It seems a lot more noticeable in the Showcases than multiplayer but its still an issue.

Bit of an excessive response?

Its easy to avoid the effect of fatigue entirely.

I find it ridiculous that in a sandbox style game where there is limited vehicles and you have to sometimes walk/run large distances, why they would implement such a drastic affect? They need to turn it down a bit and I think that most would agree with that.

Missing the point, the whole fatigue effect can be easily avoided by slightly adjusting your playstyle.
We all know acting rambo and sprinting like mad in arma3 will grant a quick death (and when combat starts you cant hit ♥♥♥♥) and yet players make threads complaining about being killed constantly and also making threads about not being able to "run" long distances without your aim/vision being messed up.

There has always been negative effects for sprinting/jogging in the arma series, its just now that added some vision distortion and all of a sudden its too "extreme".

Its just that players dont like such restrictions and just wish them removed.
I just dont agree with the reasoning behind that.

I hope they remove the cheap blur effect and do something else, after few minutes the blur makes me kind of motion sick to the point i can't play anymore, i really hate blur and disable it in all games but here the fatigue blur is just a very poor effect only making eye strain and making me literally sick after a few, hope they come with something different as screen fading black or anything else but not a cheap blur effect .

This makes the game unplayable for me. Why degrade the image quality at all? Why blur the screen when you run for just 15 seconds? In ARMA 2 its called FADE now its the Fatigue System? Blurring the screen and degrading image quality? This is a internal joke or something?

I just want to be able to turn down the breathing, its making me use third person more than i want. Maybe my ears are messed but i've never heard my own breathing as loud as in game, sounds like my avatar is heavy breathing into a PA sytem.
