Helo Rope

I've mentioned it elsewhere but, I would love to see special forces - maybe even regular troops - being able to fast descend by rope, from a helo.

Raiding a compound, for example, and having your troops land on a roof and move through the building below while another squad infiltrates another part of the compound would, for me, be classic.

That is an excellant idea and I agree with you as real forces on the battlefield sometimes have to insert by rope from a helicopter. And also I think they should add the SPIE Rig where you can attach yourself to the rig and be carried away WHILE on the rig in mid air.

Agreed: fast extractions would be sweet.

These two additions would ensure that there is no other game like it on the market.

Saying that though, it can be fiddly trying to get a seat on a helicopter when it's packed with players, using the mouse scroll button... imagine trying to spin that wheel as you sweep down on the helo; it would make for some funny moments though, I'm sure. ;)

Fast rope was even in BAS addons for OFP and only in Arma3 BIS show it as possible feature.

Please do some research before posting, I think I've seen atleast one mission out there already give the ability to without a mod, and soon there will be mods with that, as ACE is THINKING about making ACE 3 for ArmA 3 at full release.
