Side missions?

Is there any side missions in ARMA 3? LIke can i run away from the camp, scouting the enemy and help some guerillas or else?

Thier are side missions in arma 3. They don't help with the next mission much tho, they are just for the fun of it basically.

However they can provide you with new guns and items you can bring back too the base and you can use them for your next mission. You can put them in a truck,atv, and your inventroy and return too the base with them, then they will unload automatically into the ammo creates and you can use them for future missions.

I was able to get a few snipers,at and anti personal mines,silincers,rocket launchers, all types of goodies from the side missions.

That's helpfull for the start. What whall i do to start them? Just go and explore?

Hang around base and listen to the conversations, a mission ought to pop up on the map. Then you just head out of the base.

What L3TUC3 said but i just wanted to add its probably best too wait around and listen too all the conversations untill no more missions pop up then do them all. That way you can use items you get from the side missions to help complete even more side missions and also it could be done faster.

The eliminate sniper side mission is a must go. Also any weapon smuggler missions.

The rest dont give as much reward as them but if your looking for a bit of a shootout then go for it.

what ammo crates do the go to? I went to the armory and my loot was not there. I had loot in the ATV, and now its all gone.
