Terrible, unplayable FPS lag only in multiplayer
I don't understand it, I auto detect my settings on single player, and all of them are at about High or higher, and run fine in singleplayer, but when I join a multiplayer server I get like 8 frames per second. I set all of my settings on the lowest setting, and I still get about 8 frames per second. I joined a server with 80 ping for me, so I don't really know if that could be it.

try this, exit game, in steam, right click arma 3 and go to properties, under the "betas" tab, use the drop down menu and select development build. Click close, after a few seconds, arma 3 should update automatically, after that go into game and see if it helps.[Don't use it anymore]

its because there are no dedicated server files yet its someone's game running on a dedi server, its worse on wasteland atm till dedi files are out thats why servers are crashing every hour or so mainly because everyone joins them all at the same time so its like the server is getting ddos.

For now, the development build is banned from online play. If you want to play online, you need to use the standard build instead.

Hello everyone
I keep this brief, I have a decent gaming computer and I can play most games on full graphics but when it comes to arma 3 my fps drops dramatically. However I have found a solution that does not effect graphics, while DRAMATICALLY boosting performance.

Youtube this video:
Arma 3 fps/graphic performance FIX

or use the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZTXFvucBe0&feature=player_embedded

This little fix does not need to be done every time, but the video says it does.
This fix made my arma 3 go from low graphics and poor fps (arount 10) to Nearly MAX graphics at 40-60 fps.

Hope this helped the arma 3 gamers out there trying to fix there performance.
Cheers everyone.
