Arma 3 launcher minimized and will not open

Whenever I launch arma the launcher icon appears on the windows task bar at the bottom of my screen, as if it is just minimized, but when i click on it, it does not appear or open. I have ran cleaners, reinstalled the game, and tried verifying the integrity of the game cache and nothing. What can I do to fix this, and has anyone else had this problem

ALT-TAB to window
Hold ALT-Space and them press M
arrow key and move...

I am just finding the application in the program files folder that launches it directly without the launcher, its annoying but at least it works.

Try to enter the safe mode: http://arma3.com/launcher/troubleshooting

tl;dr version: press and hold Ctrl+Shift when you starting the game (clicking on Play button in Steam) and disable Launcher HW acceleration.

First of all, the switch only apply to the Launcher itself, it has nothing to with the game.

Long story shorts: the technology we use for the Launcher's user interface (WPF) is hardware accelerated by graphic cards. Some performance or visual "tweaks" for games may shoot this technology in the knee (e.g. SweetFX Shader Suite or RadeonPro tweak utility). With hardware acceleration disabled, all the rendering is done a processor and that works around those tweaks.
