Breaking point Mod bad for DayZ
Is this bad for DayZ or is it a good thing, servers seem pretty empty considering the popularity of DayZ, apparently these guys were around in the Arma 2 days also but messed up and cancelled all production...

50 players seems kinda weak though for a massive killer map like Arma III has, i guess all recipes of this game have the same problems

servers are far from empty, most are usually full. there is 4 maps. altis is 55 players now, other maps are 45.

Its bad for dayz, it is far smoother gameplay. dayz sa has a lot of potential but this is far ahead atm.
you do not break your legs falling from 5 feet
movement in buildings is superior
u dont have a firefight cqb and trade and die seconds after u killed the guy like in SA. in arma 3 either u live or him generally
arma stance system is nice and i personally get better fps on a better looking game.

I am personally having a hard time to go back to DayZ Standalone...

ArmA 3 just feels better overall in every department.
* Movement
* Frames
* Graphics
* Weapons
* Vehicles
* Zombies, yeah even the zombies are better.

Eventually DayZ standalone is going to be better, but atm it's not really much.

The first time I played Breaking Point the engine performance blew me away,so smooth and looks so good. When I loaded up the standalone after 5 minutes I'd had enough, jerky and cumbersome movement. I'm leaving the standalone installed and I'll fire it up everytime there's an update to see how it is, but I'll be playing Breaking Point from now on.

i'm not for or against either, as i was a late comer to this whole dayZ craze was wondering what all you guys thought, i put off buying arma II due to it's jerky looking performance i guess you could say...

Arma III however is a beautiful looking game and breaking point works fine for me, but the map is so freaking huge 55 players just seems like a ghost-town i guess...
