Bad Performance Issues

So I just bought a GTX780ti, and upon testing it out on ARMA 3 I'm running into some problems. Looking at benchmarks I should be getting 60+ FPS at least on ultra yet I seem to be getting a max of 45, and average of 30 or so according to fraps. What gives? I seem to be having similair issues with Tomb Raider as well for some reason. I'm running 3570k @ 4.2GHZ, 16GB Ram, GTX780ti EVGA Superclocked, on Windows 7 64-bit.

First, go to Windows 8.1. It will give you an fps boost. Second a 3570 @ 4.2GHz might cap your GPU. Use MSI Afterburner or something else to check your CPU and GPU usage. If your CPU is 100% and your GPU is like 60%, your CPU is underpowered.

Third, ArmA is not a game to expact 60 FPS. The game is just not build to do so. It's a software limit, not a hardware limit.

Also, monitor you GPU's clockspeed. If it is not running at full make a profile in your nVidia control panel with "Power Management" set to "High Performance" or words to that effect.

Did you completely unintsall/clean your GPU drivers before installing your new card? You might also delete your Arma3.cfg so it will auto-detect the new card and make the proper adjustments

I just did a clean driver uninstall and install which seems to have helped. Geforce expierance as usual is not 100% on, I found that with ecerything maxed if I just tone down the draw distance of both envrionment and object just slightly that I get a huge FPS boost a little over 60. Thanks for the ideas though guys. I'm happy now :)
