I'm confused as to why people try to play games on Mac. It is obvious that many ports to Mac aren't going to work perfectly. MacOS is built upon Linux, to the best of my knowledge, and many of these games aren't being ported to Linux either, because of cost, difficulty porting or other reasons. Also, considering the fact taht Super Giant Games are indie and don't have a diesel publisher (to the best of my knowledge), I'm surprised there is a Mac port.
Also, white screen? I just tried Bastion on my Mac Pro (for my Final Cut Pro/Photoshop work, I don't even bother gaming on it) and it works great. Maybe you are an isolated case.

Did some looking around for you (next time, search on the forum, I found another post with the same issue) and someone said try turning off Steam In Game Overlay.
Good luck and have fun:csgoanarchist:

Oh, there is nothing wrong with gaming on the Mac, it's just a really subpar experience as many games are not optimized for Mac, and sometimes straight up don't work at all. It's rather unfortunate.

Indeed. Thats why for PC exclusive games i use a heavenly soft ware called "bootcamp"which lets be bypass the PC exclusive wall.

I needed to get a mac because of school work. I needed to be able to use certain programs not for pc. I just didnt want to spend money on getting another computer. I have had no problems playing games on my mac aside from this one with its damn white screen
