Sound magically stopped working today
Ive played it before and all of a sudden today when I booted it up some pop ups appeared telling me somthing was missing and voila, now the sound doesnt work.

Ive tried restarting my computer, verifing the files, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
but ♥♥♥♥ it wont work.

D: cant imagine this game without sound.

Is this a problem with anything else? Have you checked your sound drivers?

Probably isnt this but, have you checked the options menu? Something might have caused it to set the sound to 0.

yeah yeah it's nothing practically wrong. I had played the game in the morning, stopped, then started it up again in the afternoon without so much as turning the comp off and yeah, just no more sound. -Nothing- changed. I since tried rebooting the comp and all that.

But, update for deoxxys, i tried playing it again later in the night and the sound was working again! Without me doing anything. Then, started it up again today, sound's not working again. and I bet it'll work again later, too. So, doesn't seem to be something with my computer, or with the game (as i've seen elsewhere people saying the same of other steam games) I think it's just Steam. Cause, as we all -should- know, Steam is a piece of ♥♥♥♥.

omg i dunno why I wasnt subscribed to this but.....

turns out my pc was saving the mute setting in sound mixer even after uninstalling the game....

Thats probably because when you uninstall steam reinstalls the same (for example if you mod a game and want a fresh install you have to verify it).

Also, yay you have sound now :D The audio in this game is soooooo good.
