It's boring as hell. couldn't play for 30 minutes as it got wayyy to repetitive with the same crap in an unpolished world. the camera setting is fixed throughout the game ffs. it's just a diablo copy but set in a children's world and single player. why do you like this game so mcuh honestly? if it's gameplay you like then why waste your time playing this game when you can play torchlight?

I'm going to have to list my arguments in number points aren't I? *sigh*
1. Torchlight is just as repetitive, and goes on for even longer. Don't deny it.
2. And the camera is perfect the way it is. There's never a single moment in the game where it would benefit to change the camera.
3. It is nothing like Diablo, just because they have similar camera views.
4. The world is certainly NOT a children's world, everything is dead, most things are broken and falling apart, and its actually quite depressing. Just because it has color doesn't mean its for kids.
5. We like the art and narrative the most, which you certainly don't get to fully apreciate in the first thiry minutes.
6. You can't say a game sucks if you've only played the first thirty minutes.

the designer of the game is a die hard diablo fan, it's so freakin obvious he wanted to make an indie game that attracted both members of the diablo/torchlight players, indie players, etc. he simply didn't want to be pointed fingers at for making a diablo/torchlight clone. so instead he decides to shift the art direction and all.. torchlight is multiplayer, so that definitely wins over bastion

"you design what you love to play"

i'll give this game one more shot. if a game disappoints at the first 30 minutes then usually it is a bad game.

You know, because Bastion were created not to compete with diablo or its clones & successors. I think Bastion is closely to Legend of Zelda series on consoles. Bastion is about what one kid can change in a world throughout his decisions, not about how many of the enemies he crushed on the way. You're rebuilding last resort for humans out there. Not cleaning endless dungeons murdeding already dead guys and stealing their stuff. Instead, in Bastion you build memorial to those, who's gone.

(and I'm terribly sorry for mistakes if they are here. English is not my native language )

Torchlight 1 isn't multiplayer.

And the comparison between both games isn't really anywhere near accurate. The mechanics for both games, and the focus of both games, is completely different, especially in terms of gameplay. Bastion's more akin to the Mana games, or top-down Zelda, or even God of War (except Bastion had MUCH BETTER camera angles from the isometric view in that you can see what you're doing).

Also, you don't make much sense.
