Steam controller + Steam link not working
Using the recommended config (or any other) I can not use the menu and thus not play the game.

What's going on here and how do I fix it?

The fix is to go into "Help & Options" > "Controls" click on the gamepad

None of which can be accomplished without a mouse... sorry but that is badly designed
