Fanmade vs Offical

Has anyone noticed that most to all fanmade games are better than the offical ones?
I mean look at AvP2 and compare it to AvPs 1 and 3 and the playstation 2 and wii versions of Sonic Unleashed compared to the 360 and Playstation 3 versions.
Yes i know, they aren't really "fanmade" but when i say fanmade i mean they weren't made by the origenal developer, like Monolith instead of Rebelion with AvP2 and Dimps instead of Sega for the wii and Playstation 2 version.

I said that weren't made by the origenal developer and if thats the case the unoffical game here (the one that wasn't published by Fox) is actually the worst, so i'm actually wrong.

I agree. AVP2 makes 1 and 3 looks like trashy Demo's. Too bad the licensing is so screwed up that we'll prob NEVER get a Steam AVP2 (but you can still buy it on Amazon and get it working in Win7 with this info - http://steamcommunity.com/app/10680/discussions/0/540736587267656936/ ).
