Can't use spider controls after Encore finished?

Well I completed Eden Encore by getting all 25 spectra which should have unlocked them, but it didn't. Was this feature missed out or something?

After searching for 20 minutes, turns out this feautre was missed, never mind. :3

Yeah, this feature was cut from the game because it made it too easy, apparently. I'm not a fan of cut features, so I was a little bummed to hear this myself.
