"Terraria Console News" is what I posted, not very far down the discussion list.
I'll believe it when I see it. Not going to hold my breath. I honestly wouldn't stake 5cents on it. If it's true and Red does continue developing Terraria, I'd bet buttons to dollars (or whatever) that he's only doing it because Tiy has already far surpassed what Terraria is with Starbound, and that's not even finished yet. He probably just sees a threat in Starbound, something that can and WILL rip just about every paying customer from his greedy, grubby hands with both on release content and promised continued developement after release.

If you look here, you will see Terraria was just a TEST of Redigit's ability to program. He is most likely (unconfirmed) getting back into it because he had a child born after the updates stop, so that probably decreased his online time a lot, he also knows MANY people want more in the game.
If you look at the link I posted: https://twitter.com/Demilogic He is in consideration of updatng. Nowhere in my post did I say "Redigit is going to update the game again". I hinted at it.
Everyone is well aware of Red's excuse that Terraria was just a test of his programming ability. This does not excuse his poor handling of public and consumer affairs.
You're a fool if you believe for even a second his excuse for bugging out. If Red was not the developer of Terraria and was instead a hired employee, do you honestly think that would have brought developement to a total halt? It's understandable that having a newborn would result in slowed developement, but anyone with half a brain can clearly see Red was merely hiding behind that excuse in a weak attempt to avoid simply saying "Yeah, I'm bored now. Get lost."
At no point did I say that you, or anyone else, said that Red was in fact going to continue developement. I said I would believe such a thing only when I see it, when cold hard facts are being downloaded into my Terraria updates folder.
I would just like more content, such as new backgrounds/new weapons/pets and of course many more things to craft!
If you want an update, you have one. There were a TON of suggestions (and some hateful comments) on that forum. I PM'd Redigit giving my full support, of which he responded: "Thank you for the support, it is nice to get a break from the hate."
