Kill the menu sun.
Christ this thing just won't give up until I have a ♥♥♥♥ing seizure. Is there any way to disable the stupid sun in the main menu and force the menu to stay ether day or night?

Geez who thought this was a good idea. I bet they were blind.

The day / night transition in the main menu. It's torturing my eyes :C Can't create a new character without getting eye cancer.

Too bad. There's no way to stop that. Just hurry up and make the character. I never noticed the constant cycling.

It never bothered me...suck it up dude.

It won't give anyone seizures, but I did also find it very irritating when I first got in-game.

Should have been at least 2 or 3 times slower...

Ah well. I doubt that flaw will ever be polished out, but it's a minor one. Shame it happens just at the start of every Terraria session though; sets the wrong mood for a gaming experience.

well you can click and hold it.

I'll be damned, that works!

Not ideal, but you can grab the sun and put it back at the beginning of the day, make your choices and then just hold it up while everything finishes loading.

Yes its really annoying, whenever my eyes focus on dark theme suddenly it becomes very bright my eyes getting ♥♥♥♥♥.

Also when I create a character I cant focus especially when picking colors.

So I would love to see it either morning or night.

If you can create a character while having to constantly hold that damn thing in place then a winner is you, but for me that's even more irritating.

Seriously is an option to disable this too much to ask for? Why was this a feature to begin with...

Maybe you could kindly ask the developers to sort this out before they ditch Terraria for good this time. We only have 2 updates left before the end

Have they declared an intention to abandon development anytime soon? Cite the source, if you'd be so kind.

Well, Terraria 2 has been announced. We have an upcoming christmas event, and the lunar boss update, pretty much sounds like they're moving on.

I hope they add a meaning to the game rather than, just explore and discover.
Like a final kickass boss where you defeat and at least a dialog comes rather than nothing.
