How do you make the depth meter?

I looked online and it said you needed 10 copper bars, 8 silver bars, and 6 gold bars, I tried to craft it at a table and chair, but it doesn't work, please help.

Depth meter is a rare drop from Bats. Used in the GPS.

i think that was in older versions, look at the date of the guide or whatever before trying it. anyway, ninjathis already said how to get it now.

Also, if you DO get a Depth Meter, heres a free tip: Dungeon Guardian spawns at level 0, so you can go search for prizes and goodies until there.
