Rare case of housing
So this is the thing.
First, I was playing, then all of the sudden all of the NPCs housing was "invalid", I built them another house.
Now it says the same thing and they slowly and one by one start losing their house and when I re-build the house it says "invalid housing" when it's just the same house with all the stuff that a house needs.
Any ideas or sugestions about whats happening? Btw I'm at hardmode

Update:
Here is the screenshot i took from my house:

Are the "invalid housing"s in/near the crimson/corruption? Because Crimson/Corruption spreads in hardmode.
Are you sure you're building the house correctly? No holes in the wall, door, chair and table, etc.?

It would be best if you could give us a screenshot to look at and see what the problem is.
also, seems that a heavy restriction on how many wooden platforms is allowed because that was the solution for most of unvalid houses. also, make sure its large enough.

I am pretty sure it's the proximity of Corruption or Crimson to your NPCs' houses that is the issue. I could be wrong but unless a house has a door, a comfort item (chair), a flat surface (table) and a light source, and a minimum of around 30 tiles of free space within the house, there is nothing else I can think of that could be the problem.

A screenshot would definately help.

My house is like a normal house: no random holes, everyone with a chair and two torches, and a table or crafting table.

Now that you mention it the corruption started spreading near but not too close for me, i started purifying that but doesn't seem to do much about it and I will start doing a 3 block tunnel to get to the underworld, will that be useful?
Also how do I post the screenshot, I already have it

It only needs to be on the same screen as the house in order to make the house unsuitable for an NPC. It's possible the Corruption is travelling underneath your NPC houses. You're in hardmode, aren't you? Corruption can now spread through rock and contaminate grass, sand, ice and rock within four or five tiles.

That might work. My concern now would be that the Corruption might be too close to your NPC houses for a tunnel or a hellevator to be much use. Your best option now might be to relocate.

You could try planting Hallow grass seeds around your NPC town. I've read from some players that the Hallow is similar to the Corruption and Crimson biomes in that it will make NPC housing unavailable, but then I've also read from some some sources that it won't do that.

Go to "View" in your Steam app toolbar, then click on "Screenshots" and upload the screenshots you want to post. If you've already done that, then go to your Screenshots archive and click on the screenshot you want to post to view it. On the right sight of the screenshot screen, you'll see a button that has a white cog on it. Click on it and then click on "Share." A pop-up will appear with a URL in it. Copy the URL and paste it in this thread.

But do any of your NPCs live in a Hallowed biome? I'm not doubting you. I just think you could have elaborated a bit.

Thanks though the Hallow seeds help me to not relocate all the NPCs and solved my problem.

OK. That's good; you don't have to relocate after all. I think what Popman and I were talking about was whether or not the Hallow would make NPC houses invalid. Apparently, from what you've said, it doesn't. So you've validated both of us and solved your own problem. Congrats! I'm glad everything worked out :-)
