Hardmode? Way to overpowered.
Hey Terraria Community :)
So i just came to defeat the Wall of Flesh and got in Hardmode.I went into the Crimson Biome in Order to destroy some altars. But the mobs didnt even allow me to come into that crimson cave.My Question is now: How did you guys manage to start in Hardmode? And how were your experiences with the Hardmode Bosses?
Thanks =)

You kind of can't do anything until you break those altars.

1. Make sure you have Molten armor equipped (it has the highest defense of anything pre-hardmode)
2. Try to find altars that are NOT in the corruption/crimson
3. build walls to block enemies from hitting you if you can, most enemies can't attack through walls
4. Don't bother fighting any hardmode bosses until you have Palladium/Mythril gear MINIMUM, you might want to try for adamantite/titanium though.

I started in hardmode...highly hard unless u got someone good with u, i got to Titanium and then moved into crimson and corruption, but if u want to do all hardmode then go with someone else who is good at terraria too :D

Well what do YOU mean? All you say is you can't beat them and then you ask for advice. Until you tell us your weapons, your accessories, your buffs, what you're doing, what the problem is, what you've tried, what you've learned, etc., what do you expect anyone to say besides "stop sucking"? Post some details.

Im very sorry if someone felt attacked or sth but here is my Setup:
Im wearing full Adamantite armor. As helmet i got the melee helmet
My accessories are:
warding cross necklace
warding obsidian shield
warding butterfly wings
warding lava waders and
warding spectre boots
my weapon is an Legendary Beam Sword.
I tried to fight the destroyer in the same arena i used for the eye of cuthulu (just some wooden platform levels 10 blocks apart frome each i couldnt defeat it. I also tried to Kill the destroyer with a water bolt and with a mini shark it both failed.as buffs i use Ironskin Potion. I also watched a tutorial on youtube where the destroyer was simply beaten by a guy with mythril armor and an legendary phasesaber so i wonder... (Not to be offensive) how the ♥♥♥♥ can this worm be beaten?!

Well by "failed", is he killing you, or are you taking too long and he runs off at sunrise? Your defense is high enough that survival shouldn't be an issue. If you're still dying then you need to be more mobile because you can't get much tankier than that at your level. Avoid contact as much as possible, dodge lasers, and kill the Probes when you can; they drop hearts. Use Health Potions when you need them.

If you aren't hurting him enough, get a Dao of Pow. They aren't hard to farm materials for and they do a lot of damage to worm-like enemies like Destroyer.

He killed me all the time wll imma farm that dao now
Thanks for your help :)
The lava waders, cool as they are, won't help you much anywhere besides the Underworld.

The best weapon to defeat Destroyer with is anything that hits multiple segments. Water Bolt MIGHT help, but Demon Scythe is probably the best magic until you can get Magical Harp etc.

I believe I used Jester Arrows with the Adamantite Repeater. They work beautifully with the Magical Quiver, Archer Potion, and the ranged set. The main source of damage from it will be the lasers, so try to take down Probes as fast as possible, or try to make a few walls to hide behind.

Well, part of your problem could be that you're wearing 3 mobility accessories, when only one should be enough. Especially get rid of the Lava Waders, since those are only really worth it when you're in the underworld. Go back to the underworld and kill the WoF a few more times to get some emblems, at least enough to make an Avenger Emblem and have another Warrior Emblem left over (since you're going melee). And if you want you can also kill a few more Mimics to get a Star Cloak, which you can combine with that Cross Necklace you're wearing to provide a slightly better effect, though it's not necessary.

Also, for the Destroyer, remember that you have potions at your disposal, too. Hook up a few heart statues and Heart Lanterns as well, and maybe throw in some honey into your arena, and it should make your life a lot easier.

At first, maybe, but once you get plantera-level gear, Lightning Boots + Hoverboard is a godsend.

For some people, maybe, but personally I prefer just to hook everything up with teleporters and use my accessory slots for other things. Just wings are enough for most purposes.
