How long does it take for items to vanish? like gold coins thats laying on the ground? or is there not a time limit? so long as i dont exit out?

There's an item limit, not a time limit. What that limit is, I don't know.

Indeed. I lost a broken hero sword to the item limit once. Took a long time of sitting in an afk farm without going out to loot for it to happen but it definitely happens.

All I observed is that it took about 3 in-game days of figthing meteor heads, or nearly an entire solar eclipse with water candle, battle potion, and manually killing everything that moves.
