Is premium civilization worth it?

Hello, I kinda like this game, especially in SP or COOP with friend so I'm considering buying premium upgrade for 900 empire points (10 €). It is worth it? I'm not really interested in PvP.. Or should I wait for possible discount? Thx.

If you're not too antsy about it, you should just wait for a sale. During the winter sale, I think the premium pack was 50 or 75% off. Such a sale is likely to come again at some point.

Having at least one civ unlocked is enough, though.

I bought two steam packs it during the winter sale. The game is so much more interesting with the premium updates!! But i think the price is very expensive without a discount...

I think they are worth it is. There's hundreds of hours of content in each one (not counting pvp), then factor in 8 civs (I think), and you have a game with a LOT of content for very little money.

While it is true that there is lots of content to be discovered, I have to make a small correction. There are 6 civilizations: Celts, Greek, Egyptians, Norse, Babylonians, and Persians.

It IS worth it i have been playing the game since oktober and bought premium celts in december i now have all the civs and im still playing it every day. But without premium you cant really get the full game expirience since alot of the content will be locked for you.

Buy Age of Empires III during a sale instead: lot more content, better game overall, more nations and a lot of people on multiplayer, even better graphics.
