Money Back
When I purchased Age of Empires online, there was no mention of one day closing down. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK? Age of empires 2 and 3 are doing well. So why give up on AOE online!

I have a legal copy of age of empires 3. No problems with AOE3. My complaint is Age of Empires online is going off line!!!

When we buy a game that only has Online Modes we kinda sign for the risk when you accept Terms and Conditions.
Therefore there is no refund.

When I buy a game, and spend a lot of money, I do not expect to be left with nothing after a few years. When I buy a car, I do not expect to hear after a couple of years that I cannot get spare parts! Microsoft are happy to take our money off us, but fail to keep their side of the bargin. AOE online is the hardest of the AOE series, in my opinion.

The game was not a free download to me. Paid about £40 - £50 for all the civilizations and other packs. Still very angry that they are going to take away this game.

You didn't have to get those packs, i do think however Microsoft should get off their lazy butts and do something for us for a change.

They just outright lack the humanity, but i guess thats what happens when you make enough money, you just sell your humanity to get more. lol.

Not contacted steam, it is not a problem with steam. It is microsoft switching off a server and closing down a game that is the problem.

AOE3 and AOE2 on hardest levels are easy to beat, no problems. AOE online is harder

I too feel like being ripped off. At least they could launch a stand alone server so I can play skirmish... I mean, since I've paid for this is the least they can do is giving me the opportunity to play alone...

You never get money refunded in such online games... thats how this game work for over 10 Years. You should inform yourself first before spending money. You guys purchased content in the game and not the game. The game itself is free.
