Not able to redeem paid dlc

Hello, I purchased Fable 3 last year but never got around to playing the game until recently. When I installed it the base game works fine but the DLC will not download, this includes both the paid and free downloadable content. I have looked online but no answer seems to work for me. Does anyone know how to get the DLC to work on the PC version or am I SOL at this point?

You are SOL, they shut down GFWL. Luck you can play the game at all at this point. Many people can not

The paid DLC randomly downloaded one day...so it pretty much worked out.

For anyone else that gets connection problems with GFWL, download the newest version from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient because the version being installed with the game doesn't go online anymore, the servers are still up and running though.

GFWL still works for me. For me it was as John A. Zoidberg M.D. said 'The paid DLC randomly downloaded one day' and I have been playing Fable III in the last few months with all the DLC.
