I'd help you out once I get there. Sadly I just arrived at Chapter 3 so it might take a few days, what with new years and hangover time tomorrow. I will keep you in mind when I get there and check if someone has helped you out already. If not then I'll upload the save file somewhere for you if I remember this post! :)

Ok I just got to Chapter 8. I made 3 savegames for you.
1: End of chapter 7 (just need to do the final thing there)
2: Just got to Chapter 8 (nothing done).
3: Got to the next screen (in case you have problems with the other two). You haven't missed much with this save compared to save 2. I literally did the 2 only things you could to get to the next area.

Thank you so much for taking your time to upload your saves, it saved me the trouble of having to start the game all over again. I too got stuck at the beginning of chapter 8 because of some weird bug (the character would not move or execute actions except looking at inventory objects) and then accidentally overwrote my only save. This game is great but also pretty damn glitchy!

Sorry, no. I deleted the game off my harddisk as soon as I finished it, and didn't keep saves. In fact I overwrote saves as I went along, only expanding to 3 saves when I got to the point where I made them to help someone since it was requested.

I have this bug too right now in chapter 3. How did you solved it?

I had to use Jinxed's savefile. Unfortunately, I think there's no other way. You either have to load a save that's close to the point where you are now or start the game all over again. Restarting is not as bad as it sounds though. Since you already know how to solve the puzzles, you can catch up with your last game very quickly.

If I had known this many people had problems, I would have made a savefile for each beginning chapter instead of just chapter 8. I feel sorry for anyone having to play through this pile of poo twice.
