I have always played with M&K , I do not own any controller . Since Phat and I are the top two on the leaderboard I have to think both ways work just fine.

I use a X-box controller and the game plays awesome with it.

Only things I change from default is I run with the A button and jump with the left analog stick click.

Not always... Controllers are better for beat em ups, sidescrollers, driving games, flight sims, & platformers.
