Shank 2
Beat'em Up games on Steam?
Ok, we have shank franchise, Castle Crashers and Sacred Citadel. Does anyone know other beat'em up games? And please, just don't mess fight games with beat'em up

good question! I'm interested aswell.

Btw: "Charlie Murder" looks like a great beat em up, but its not on PC yet. If you like you can follow my lead and send an email to james.e.silva@gmail.com to convince them to make a pc port :D

That's look a preety nice game. "Charlie Murder" should be on steam, indeed :D
I know this post is bit aged, but hopefully you still get this.

for straight 2.5D, 3/4 and sidescroller there are Dust, Guacamelee, Foul Play and Watchmen. In the more adventurish or sandboxy character growth styles there are the batman games, Dark Souls and Two Worlds. The batman games have beat-em-up style melee and combos. Dark Souls allows you to develop some very fast paced and satisfying brawling styles. Two worlds has the option to go full melee, stealth melee, melee/ranged, stealth/ranged, melee/stealth...whatever. Oh and a great magic system with close, long, medium and support style spells or mix in between. Two worlds isn't necessarily a beat-em-up but you can turn it into one depending on how you build your character easily.

If you'd like to try out batman, it's cheap as sand this weekend. If you'd like to try out two worlds I have a 90% off coupon for the first game that I'd trade you for just about any two cards you have or a coupon for ANY of the dozens and dozens of games on my wishlist. Seriously, I'm not picky.

There's fun with punching to be had out there. If you'd like to duo any of these or got questions feel free to add me.
aha, just wandered through your library and noted every single suggestion I had and a few I hadn't thought of...carry on.
I've playing Dust, it's a awesome beat'em up, unfortunally, no co-op :(
Hard to find as good as Klei's Shank 1 & 2. Guacamelee looks cool but haven't tried it yet. The upcoming Aztez also (not on steam so far though).
i been having fun with double dragon neon very fun streetsofragefinalfight kinda hybrid very enjoyable

so i take it the shank games are fun that is what i came here to figure out lol:)
Now that I have played Guacamelee, I shall also recommend it, unless you hate plateformers, because it is half of the gameplay.
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicle of Mystara
Streets of Rage trilogy
Castle Crashers
Final Exam
