Btw: "Charlie Murder" looks like a great beat em up, but its not on PC yet. If you like you can follow my lead and send an email to james.e.silva@gmail.com to convince them to make a pc port :D
for straight 2.5D, 3/4 and sidescroller there are Dust, Guacamelee, Foul Play and Watchmen. In the more adventurish or sandboxy character growth styles there are the batman games, Dark Souls and Two Worlds. The batman games have beat-em-up style melee and combos. Dark Souls allows you to develop some very fast paced and satisfying brawling styles. Two worlds has the option to go full melee, stealth melee, melee/ranged, stealth/ranged, melee/stealth...whatever. Oh and a great magic system with close, long, medium and support style spells or mix in between. Two worlds isn't necessarily a beat-em-up but you can turn it into one depending on how you build your character easily.
If you'd like to try out batman, it's cheap as sand this weekend. If you'd like to try out two worlds I have a 90% off coupon for the first game that I'd trade you for just about any two cards you have or a coupon for ANY of the dozens and dozens of games on my wishlist. Seriously, I'm not picky.
There's fun with punching to be had out there. If you'd like to duo any of these or got questions feel free to add me.
so i take it the shank games are fun that is what i came here to figure out lol:)
