Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Remastered. Why you shouldn't buy it.
To kick this off, there obviously might not be an MW2 remaster, but based on what Raven Studios and Infinity Ward have been posting on twiter, and interacting with fans, the GameStop and Amazon leaks, i believe that there WILL be an MW2 remaster, and that it will blow huge donkey doink. Take this with a grain of salt, though.

I won't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it, I won't be tripped up by this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again.

First off, Since Activision is just a greedy hog, they will probably bundle the game up with CoD:BO4. The official "community reveal date" of BO4 will be May 12th. The Amazon Italy leaked saying the game will come out on April 30th. I believe this is another scam like Infinite Warfare and the original Modern Warfare. These games might just be bundled together, but even if they aren't, you're gonna have to shell out another $30-$50 for a game you already own.

Second off, They will probably ♥♥♥♥ the game up with Supply Drops. CoD4 remastered sold, and nobody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it, becuase of how they eased into the supply drops, first with no supply drops, to cosmetic supply drops, to weapons in supply drops, BUT you can EARN these guns by doing unrealistically long challenges to get them. Then the sheep of the COD franchise won't realise what they are actually doing.

Third, They will somehow ♥♥♥♥ up the balancing of the game, and the new engine won't make it feel like MW2. MW2 feels laggy, bogus, delayed, and kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it makes the best engine in any videogame i've ever seen. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE it, and it felt simmilar in MW3, but without the engine the remaster*won't* run on, it won't spark nostalgia in anyones eyes, and it was the same for me with CoD4 remastered.

Then, They will nerf certain stuff and thats just going to flat out ruin the game. One Man Army noob tubes are a STAPLE in MW2, the loveably garbage hit reg, the ACR, the Spas, and Chopper gunners, AC130s, Harriers, Pavelows will all act weird and it wont feel like MW2.

The worst. The game won't have the broken bugs that made it great, remember. A 16 year old was about 9 when the game was dropped, so Activision is going to have to try harder to get the nostalgia going. But, stuff like the Model 1887s, the elevators for trickshotting, the mission "No Russian" as a whole (will most likely be cut because of how Liberal the US and Europe is becoming), the UMP, the P90, One Man Army Noob Tubes, and every single pre-patch glitch you can think of that made MW2 what it is today, won't be present.

From my perspective, as a kid who GREW UP on MW2, I won't expirence my classics like Models pre-patch, the voice chat ♥♥♥♥ around, the trickshotting community, the noob tubes, adn all these glitches, ontop of the game playing unlike the originial, topped with a healthy serving of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ balance patches that will ruin MW2 even in its current, 2018 state, all wrapped up in a hearty take out bag that reads "Buy our ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and supply drops; Have a ♥♥♥♥ you day" written on it.

I don't know about you guys, but im not falling for this MW2 De-Mastered ♥♥♥♥.

MW2s hit reg is the best in the series. (Or was when the playerbase was larger and ping was lower). They won't nerf anything except OMA noobtubes, since that was an exploit and was going to be patched before the multitude of lawsuits hit IW. CoD 4 Remastered had no balancing changes, and while I disagree with them fixing all the map exploits in MWR, it doesn't really effect gameplay at all. Supply drops will likely be cosmetic only, which is one of the few things CoD WWII did right. The likeliness of bundling it with a future title is low since many people didn't buy MWR due to being forced to pay $80+ for it with Infinite Warfare, resulting in lost profits (and we know who I'm talking about here. Losing profits is a big no for them)

The supply drops aren't cosmetic only in CoD WWII, nor have they been for the past 5 Call of Duty games (including WWII and MWR). Sure, you can obtain the weapons for free with alternatives such as challenges, but that doesn't change the fact that there is game changing content in a slot machine. By the way before you say I'm just a CoD hater, I love the Call of Duty franchise, but I'm most certainly not going to try to defend Activision's shady business practices.

The content isn't game of the loot boxes changing if you can alternatively obtain the items through simple challenges
