Fairly interesting plot, awesome powers, huge open map full of stuff to kill. This game has it all.
The only issue I have with it is the sheer amount of useless upgrades in the "combat" section.
You can buy an upgrade to slam your fists together and stun nearby enemies, or you can buy an upgrade to slam your fists on the ground and stun nearby enemies. Both have pretty much the same effect, there's no reason to buy both.
There's also an upgrade for a pointless palm slam and an uppercut with an air-combo followup you never get to use because the uppercut only launches humans but also kills most of them in one hit, which goes against the point of launching them in the first place.
So basically, where there should've been a shield upgrade and something to make the claws and the hammerfists not useless after you get the blade, they came up with four different shockwave jump attacks. Where there should've been an upgrade to hold multiple disguises, they came up with an upgrade to accuse someone of being you. Where there should've been a sprint-consume upgrade, they came up with a cannonball attack.
Anyway, this game is really fun if you don't spend hours getting EXP for Kung Fu moves you'll never use.
