KQ VI - What Version?
I remember that this was re-released with updated pictures and wonderful voice-overs during conversations .... does the one in the bundle have the updated features?

In case you did not know this is the ugh..... Vivendi Version(Kings Quest Collection 2006) and they basically butchered it, and even when it was brand new there was little or no official support for it. It was a cash grab.

"Technically the files for enhanced KQ6 are included but there is no installation process for them"

So your only able to play the MSDOS version. There may be a work around to get the windows version but thats up to you.

Thanks so much for your response ... I guess I'll have to find an old CD and put an old computer back together so I can show this glorious part of my childhood to my wife.

Honestly, I used a virtual machine with windows 98 to get the old school windows files to work. It looked and sounded beautiful as I remembered when I first discovered this game on my Church's windows 3.1 computer back in the early to mid 90s.

I have a solid memory of calling up Sierra asking about why the high resolution graphics weren't working. I was confused because the back of the box had some sweet looking portraits of people talking when you spoke to them, but when I played, they were not there. Strangely enough, Sierra and I went through quite a bit of troubleshooting, only to find in the end that there were two different versions, and mine didn't have that stuff. You would have thought they would have come to that conclusion sooner.
