ArtRage Studio Pro Not Working properly

I have the full verson of the studio pro but whenever I launch it a code shows up which is fine and then I copy it and launch the program. After I launch the program though, nothing for the key shows up and I try to do stuff that I would be able to on the full verson but it doesn't work. All the layer options are locked. I can export files but my layer options do not work. This is a paid verson, so why is it not working properly?

Sorry to hear you're having problems. You can ignore the serial number provided by Steam as ArtRage has already installed it. The application won't ask for the serial number.

Please could you describe the problem in detail so that I can help. Exactly what options aren't working for you? Are they greyed out, non existant or something else? Let me know what you're clicking on and what you're trying to access. If there are error messages, please let me know the exact text of the error message. Also, let me know what operating system you're using.

The demo also doesn't have layer options removed and the demo is not 'unlocked' by a serial number, it's separate from the full version, so the problem won't relate to demo limitations.

They are greyed out and have the lock on them. I am using Windows XP 64 Bit. There are no error messages, it is just if i try to use the layer options they don't work because they are locked. I actually tried to fix it by fixing the local files through steam and it says a file is missing but I cannot seem to replace the missing file.

Can you tell me what layer options you're referring to?

Do you mean options in a menu for example, and if so, which menu ( how are you accessing it ) and which options are greyed out?

Could you also let me know how many layers you have in the painting and which layer is selected?

Also, what do you mean by 'they have the lock on them' Can you describe that in more detail?
