Will it work on a tablet?

I'm planning on getting this
VT PenPad 7.7-Inch Graphic Pen Tablet
will it work with this program? or any recommendations for another cheap but well working tablet? thanks!

I'm not familiar with that particular tablet, but if it supports OS X and Windows tablet input standards it's likely to work with ArtRage. You could ask on our forums as well in case another one of our users has experience with it. Our forums are at http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums

iPad offers an app by Artrage for a few bucks, but it doesn't have all the goodies this does. In theory, it ought to work with Microsoft's Surface, but on Artrage's main website, the full program only works on full system computers. There are rumors that Artrage is considering an app for Android, but there isn't anything so far.

wacom bamboo (cte-450) has no joy in artrage3. it just puts down dots, cant do any lines. (its definitly not a pressure issue, which is all i could find support for). dissapointed, looks like good software

That may be so, but if you check out Artrage's website, you realize the computer tablet and the desktop is the market they are aimed at.

Go with Wacom, and yes tablets work great with this. Also check out Sketchbook Pro

I have ArtRage 2 and it worked perfectly fine with my Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Tablet.

I just tried the demo with my Wacom Bamboo FUN (CTE-650) and it appears to work okay. Perhaps your tablet is a little older? I don't know much about tablets mind, only got this one as the store selling it had it real cheap in a closing down sale several years ago.

....it comes with the Bamboo Splash so I'm pretty sure it works with them :)

The thing is im a beginner, and i just went on Amazon to find a cheap one that worked, im not interest in Wacom or Bamboo because those are really advanced.

I don't actualy own the full version of Art Rage but I know that the VT PenPad 7.7-Inch Graphic Pen Tablet works with the demo :P

it works with an asus tablet only down side it cant take screenshots

I use a Cintiq and to be honest it's terrible. The stroke lag is so annoying as to render this software pointess.
